Today I led our second annual All Hands meeting here at Civic Elevator. I presented our plans for the integration of products from UpVate, Civic Site Service, and the home-grown tools we’ve developed at Civic from Day One. The one-day meeting was bracketed by onsite client meetings.

Campaign for “Paul Jacoulet, Outsider Artist”
I created the strategy, website, and collateral for a campaign centered on expanding the conceptual understanding of Outsider art, specifically that Paul Jacoulet, a perpetually misunderstood and misclassified French artist working in Japan. The focus of the campaign was the Outsider Art Fair in New York, held this weekend.

Acquisiton of UpVate
Today I helped Civic Elevator close the purchase of UpVate, maker of the leading elevator compliance software in New York City and Massachusetts. Civic will be absorbing UpVate’s team members into our existing operation.
